Title: OUCH Results Post by don on Nov 1st, 2002, 8:49pm I beat the crap outta that "no vote" guy. Only 55 people want to work towards better treatment. Hmmmmm? |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by kim on Nov 1st, 2002, 9:04pm no excuses. Guilty. Only thing I can tell ya is we are barely hangin here financially. Second year in the house and 3 kids. Not complaining. Not makin excuses. Just really frazzled :o right now I sure wish I knew how to carve out a space where I could dedicate my energies in directions that cater to my needs and the needs of those I have come to feel close to. Just see stuck inside the core of family... ??? Nervous Nelly - I'm Sorry..... |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by don on Nov 2nd, 2002, 8:22am Thats OK Kim OUCH isn't primarily a financial endevour. In fact the membership fee has been eliminated. OUCH is about a concerted effort to have our voices heard. 55 voices are not very loud in the world of insurance companies. |

Title: David's Stone Post by rumplestiltskin on Nov 2nd, 2002, 9:12am ...that's what Goliath thought. 8) |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by don on Nov 2nd, 2002, 9:47am Good observation but Goliath wasn't motivated by financial gain and profit as are the Insurance companies. "Show me the numbers" would have been Goliath's challenge to David |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by Bob P on Nov 2nd, 2002, 11:12am 55 votes out of almost 400 members isn't that good. Especially when they were all e-mailed, reminding them to vote. However, 55 votes is around 25 votes better than last year. Challange: Marty, Slammy and I are going to work on forming the first recognized chapter of OUCH, OUCH - California Chapter. Any of you other back-water, inbred states want to try to get it done before us? I challange ya. |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by Linda_Howell on Nov 2nd, 2002, 11:47am O.K.....I'm willing to let my stupidity show here. Since Don was running un-opposed, don't you think the low turn-out was because everyone assumed HE would win anyway? And BTW Boob, I live in California. What can I do to help? Linda Howell |

If I make the two hour drive and drink some beer with Ted will we win the challange? How about if I make the 40 min drive to Don's, let milktoast piss on my BBB's and share an Trex neddle with him, will that do it? Or, I could make the 40 min trip down RT9 and say a prayer with, Ree....will that do it? BTW: I voted for you Don you Nixon wannabe;) ......................jonny |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by Jill on Nov 2nd, 2002, 3:08pm Alright.... I dont like this idea of the California people being so special. I would be willing to help, as much as I could anyone who wanted to do something in Maryland. Anyone out there?? Just a thought :) Jill |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by don on Nov 2nd, 2002, 6:55pm State chapters are a great idea. A more organized concerted effort can be facilitated that way. |

So what say all you noreasters? What's a good date? Cat |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by don on Nov 4th, 2002, 11:43am A good date is one that costs little money and you get lucky in the end. |

Title: Re: OUCH Results Post by Jabeen on Nov 4th, 2002, 11:48am I am in NJ and would be interested in a northeast chapter...but getting together could be difficult. I am gone 2 weeks of what is left in Nov. and 3 weeks in Dec.- weather gets funky in Jan. Anyway-if there is an attempt, I would like to know- :) :) :) |
