A check from Glaxo in the amount of $2,500 is on it's way to OUCH Headquarters. Our first grant from a real company. It was supposed to be to help finance the Vancouver Convnetion. A little too late for that. Maybe we can use it to help defer costs for another good speaker next year. Hot damn, made my day!!! |

Post by BarbaraD on Oct 31st, 2002, 5:41pm In defense of Bob and his treasurer wife..... the $2500 check arrived at OUCH headquarters yesterday afternoon by Fed X and was deposited in the OUCH bank account by ME this morning first thing (all of it) and a COPY sent to the treasurer along with the deposit slip, so in case anyone didn't get the joke...... This is a great day for OUCH and as one of the founders I add my congrats to the list along with the others. That long ago day in Rockester in Drummer's garage (OUCH's first convention) who'd thunk it - well actually WE did!!! Now, you guys - go to the OUCH store and BUY something. We have sweat shirts for Xmas and T-shirts and other stuff. SPEND some money and keep OUCH going. Don't depend on ONE doncation to keep us going. Love you all... Hugs BD |
