when i first started having clusters-after mris, x-rays,
rule out for everything the Air Force doctor said "sounds like a classic presentation of cluster headaches.Except-you are not a middle aged man with a squarish jaw and orange peel textured skin" i said "thank God for that anyway"
i thought the doc was totally off the wall until i started reading the research and yup some folks feel the need to figure out what the typical cluster head looks like.
i want a cure...if i want to know what we look like i'll find a mirror. i'm sorry did that sound a bit grumpy...

Talitha, I think that stereotypical description goes back to ancient days when they were drilling skull holes (sans anaesthetic) to relieve head pain. It makes about as much sense. All you have to do is look at Bob's picture page to see that that description is totally bogus. And, you're right - who CARES what true clusterheads look like? Just find a cure!

I know that any outward physical description is BS, but I fit it with the exception of being tall (5'8 here). Also, I would call my complexion "ruddy", not orange peel coarse. LOL!

i did consider leeches at one time...right after the capsicum cream (blistered my skin) and a really weird chiropractor who tried to adjust my teeth and said his angel told him i had been hit in the head by a rifle while defending my plantation during the civil war. all righty :o
