Title: back of head clusters
Post by mike1963 on Oct 27th, 2002, 5:39pm
I am at my son's using his computer.  I just began having clusters on Tuesday.  The last time I had them was in 1990 and 1994.  This time it is different - instead of being behind my eye, the headache starts at the base of my skull and radiates up the back of my head.  Has anyone else had this happen.  I know it is a cluster because it comes on about the same time every night.  My e-mail at my house is jmccoy@houston.rr.com  Thanks!

Howdy Mike,
Sorry bout the head but glad your here.
Hit all the links on the left, yes all of them, and then all of the links on the OUCH site. Education is power and there is more about CH right here condensed than I have ever seen.
How about some background, what meds have you tried that worked, or didnt. Do you see a Neuroligst and if so, what did he/she say. Come on in and look around and good luck.
Mark

I've never had that experience. What you describe doesn't sound like cluster headaches.

It may be good news.  Get it diagnosed though

Sounds like something other than CH to me.

I agree with the others -- get an appointment to ascertain what you have.
