If they found a cure for CH but the downside would be that you would become blind in one eye, I'm just wondering if anyone would go for it. I think I would have last week before my cycle ended but now feeling better I think not. Told you it was a dumb question, I'm just a little bored today...

ME TOO I WOULD NOT BECOME BLIND TO AN EYE AND STOP CLUSTER. I PREFERE HAVE CLUSTER AND HAVE A GOOD EYE.

Zaira, just out of curiosity ... are your clusters on the side you are blind on .. mine are. Also, I don't notice any horners syndrom on that eye ... perhaps because it doesn't know any better ???

Not a good idea. I might need that extra eye and Ch has been known to go away......new drugs too

Ask me during my next K10. There aint much I wouldnt do during a blaster to get relief, but the eye thing seems a bit extreme. I will just hit the Imitrex

Hello,

I have CH on the side where I have a disease on my cornea and I can not see.

When I have attacks my eye are bad, but Docts. told me that there is no connection between the 2 things.

I'd keep my eye. I would trade in my left testicle however. Curious as to wheather or not individuals with one testy have a tendency to walk in circles due to imbalance? ;D

I too am blind in one eye (right). Unfortunately the HA's are on the left side. Makes it kind of hard to see when the beast comes a knockin. At that point, you could probably blindfold me with dental floss. Makes it pretty hard to drive also.

Instead of giving up an eye, how about an in-law. ;D

Since mine have jumped side to side (not during a bout, but when a new one starts) I would have to give up both eyes-unacceptable. Does anyones eyes ache all day the day after an attack? I get my attacks at night and the next day the eye on the effected side aches like hell. Fiorcet works-not Advil or regular stuff-

Jimbo just made me realize though that if my headaches ever change sides I am in deep doooo dooooo !!!! I won't be able to see to find my friggin IMITREX !!!! I'm gonna attach a chain to my Imitrex shot dispenser pack and hang the darn thing around my neck just to be on the safe side !!!!! LOL ... the latest in Clusterhead gear !!!!

Y'all are really too funny-at 3a.m. i would have traded one breast, three fingers an eye and what little hearing i have left. By 5a.m. i would have been an exhausted amazon throwing hand signs that probably mean something to ganstas and yelling "WHAT!"

Add smiles by placing the cursor where you want the face, put the mouse hand over the shape you want and left click the mouse. ;D

I'm kind of surprised at the answers. If it meant to never have another cluster.......Where do I sign? I wouldn't hesitate a second. I have no faith in modern medicine, I don't see any advances to help us. You can still see everything with one eye, you just have to turn your head. At this point I would do anything to be rid of them. If I could take a pill that would guarantee I'd be dead by 55, but get rid of the devil. It would be worth those 31 years to not worry and not live in fear of clusters.

Maybe you can live with one eye but my paycheck comes from having perfect eye sight, on the other hand doing what I do puts my eyes in danger (2 eye surgeries)
