I just wanted to share this sentance from an e-mail I received this mroning:

"I belong to the National Headache Foundation and they recommened that I contact you."

I think we can consider OUCH a legitimate organization when groups like the NHF start referring sufferers to us. Well done to everyone who has worked to make OUCH what it is and to those who will keep it growing in the future.

Ouch HAS come of age; helps lots of people and has just saved us! There are two brikkis in New Zealand eternally grateful to Ouch.

Will write a longer post about this as soon as I'm human again

Wow, Bob - that gives me such a big smile. :)

I hope LCBob and Barb D see this. This is HUGE! This is one of the first milestones we wanted to reach way back then.

And... I can't help but think that our outgoing President has done the lion's share of the work in pulling us forward enough this year to make things like this happen. Outstanding work, Bob! You're leaving some pretty big shoes to fill. Figuratively AND literally ;)

Whoa!!! I didn't put this up to get praise for myself (but I am flattered).

A lot of people have worked to make OUCH what it is today. Past Officers, the bunch that thought it all up (Drummer, Todd, Kip, Barb and Elaine). Margi with her Family Services Group, the Committee members who spent so much time digging up links and important info for the site, the financial backers (Jonny and Paco come to mind but there are a whole bunch of you), Dave Emond and his forms, everyone who has helped spread the word, Bennis Sue getting the site linked all over the web, and of course DJ. Without him and this site, none of it would have happened. We'd all still be lone clusterheads, wandering around saying fuck this shit!

The sentence was from a 65 year old clusterhead who thought his headaches were really weird because they only came around every 2 years. I explained that what he described was a textbook case of clusters.

In the past couple of days we've been listed with NORD, listed with JAMA in the Michigan State health links and also Mass. I think, and now get referrals from NHF. God, it feels good to be taken seriously!!

That's a great accomplishment for a group of people who live with so much pain in their lives.
Its been said before but you are an amazing group...definitely clear you are a family working for eachother (not sure that most families even make the effort).

years and years ago, i contacted the National headache foundation. They sent me some stuff....and the stuff on clusters was minimal. It is wonderful to read that all your hard work is making headway.

although we are a tremendous minority in the eyes of the world and medical arena, look what you are accomplishing! it's GREAT :)

PS: all of the people who took upon their shoulders that responsibility to carry us all here - you know who you are - what a wonderful thing ya all did!

I'm seeing Kudrow this week, and I am bringing this ammo with me. Let's see what his tune is going to be........... :D

It is very satisfying to see some of the goals that this organization had set, come to fruition. My heartfelt thanks goes out to all you legacy folks that dreamnt this shit up and made it happened! ;D

As I said before, this org and home has literally saved the quality of my life.

Congrats O.U.C.H.! but there is still so much more to do! Let's make it happen! :)
