Title: Chiropractic Treatment Post by lbneal on Oct 25th, 2002, 9:33pm My Dr. has indicated he has had some success treating Clusters with Chiropractic techniques. Previous treatment by other Dr's did not seem to help, but he has specifically addressed the problem and seems to think that his approach has resulted in success with more than one patient. Input/comment invited. |

Title: Re: Chiropractic Treatment Post by Karla on Oct 25th, 2002, 10:20pm One of the first people I went to see was a chiropractor. He thought he could help me to. However, he did not help me in the slightest. I also tried physical therapy. That was no help in stopping the ha but it did help the neck and upper back muscles that were so from constantly being in pain. |

Title: Re: Chiropractic Treatment Post by BobG on Oct 25th, 2002, 10:26pm My Dr. has indicated he has had some success treating Clusters with Chiropractic techniques. Is your doctor an MD, neurologist or chiropractor? Previous treatment by other Dr's did not seem to help What kind of doctor and what kind of treatments? seems to think that his approach has resulted in success with more than one patient. SEEMS to think? Is he not sure? Input/comment invited. I just love it when someone comes here, doesn't tell us anything, asks for input and then won't stick around long enough to get an answer. ibBobG |

Title: Re: Chiropractic Treatment Post by Georgia on Oct 25th, 2002, 10:59pm Hi Ibneal, welcome to ch.com....a wealth of help and info. Chiropracters have discussed here a lot. I would really suggest that you do a search (use the button at the top) and/or search the archives to find ch'ers experiences....some have found that it helps...some have not. Let us know if you try it and how it works for you. Also, the more info you give us (meds tried, drs seen, etc) the more we can help you. Good luck! Peace and love, Georgia |

Title: Re: Chiropractic Treatment Post by Charlie on Oct 26th, 2002, 5:34am Welcome to our ward Ibneal. I imagine you dropped in because you're having a bout with this horrror. When you feel up to it, tell us some more. Chiropractors may make you feel better but for clusters, you need an MD. A Neurologist who knows his stuff is your best bet. Believe me, we would stand on our heads and paint ourselves blue if it would work. It's just that not a lot of us have had much luck with the chiropractic. Read all you can and keep in touch. Title: Re: Chiropractic Treatment Post by don on Oct 26th, 2002, 8:54am Who diagnosed CH. Was it the doctor who "seems to think" ? If your spine needs aligning dont go neuro, go to a chiro. If you have CH dont go to a chiro, go to a neuro. Go to a neuro who "REALLY thinks" |
