Title: Re: Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!! Post by Slammy on Oct 14th, 2002, 12:53pm 2 months in a row? We don't serve turkey on Halloween! ;D We have a traditional Italian Christmas... meaning we celebrate with a huge dinner on Christmas-eve.... linguini in lobster sauce... oysters, fried smelt, shrimp, and calamari.... though on Christmas day we've been having goose with a honey-baked ham too! Though I usually just snack on left-over calamari and shrimp ( hell, I have to clean it) :) You have turkey too? did the pilgrims come up and visit you guys too? ;D Slammy 8) |

Consider yourselves lucky you don't have to eat Swedish sauage (korv) just horrible.....Lutefisk has to beat it all though...Bleaugh. However, no one has better pastry and rye bread. Making me hungry....and yer Italian feast sounds great Slammy....although the oysters are all yers. I have a hard time imagining the first person to eat an oyster.
