He was 7 lbs 6 oz, delivered by ceasarean section. Alex was in intensive care for the 1st 24 hours due to breathing problems but now both Mommy and Baby are home! Cory |

Title: Re: Want to Introduce my Son! Post by LTBullitt on Oct 13th, 2002, 12:26pm It's nice to see some people can still come up with some decent names for children. Alexander Thomas You won't butcher him to an "Alex" will you? This name shortening has come to an end. ...A |

Title: Re: Want to Introduce my Son! Post by Charlie on Oct 13th, 2002, 5:02pm Congrats to you and your growing family. I concur with the name. Alexander is a classic. On the name thing: This is on the level: George Stephanopolis (a former White House advisor and now news analyst) named his new baby daughter Eliot Anastasia Stephanopolis. I kid you not. What kind of baby name book were they reading? Maybe they were reading it upside down. Good for you! Charlie |

Title: Re: Want to Introduce my Son! Post by Margi on Oct 14th, 2002, 12:01pm Congratulations, Cory!! I have a cousin named Alexander and it got shortened to Sandy. he always has a problem with folks thinking he's a girl. Until they meet him, of course. he's 6'4 and, oh, about 240. So, if ya shorten it? Alec or Alex is my vote. No confusion that way. Again, enjoy your little baby. Wow - lotsa Libras in this crowd!! |

Title: Re: Want to Introduce my Son! Post by Margi on Oct 14th, 2002, 12:18pm yes, dear, that cousin is Canadian. Actually, when we were kids, we called him 'Salamander'. But don't tell Cory that, ok? |
