Title: Wish me luck and success Post by catlind on Oct 10th, 2002, 11:01pm As of 12:00 a.m. October 11th 2002 I am a NON smoker. That's right, smoked my last cigarette a few min. ago and that's all there is. Never again will I go back to smoking, I quit twice before, 1 for 3 years, 2 for 2 1/2 years, and have been back smoking since Dec 5 2001 and effective immediately I am now a NON smoker :) And I'm gonna brag, cause my cessation counsellor was so impressed with the tips tricks and techniques I've put in place to prepare for my quit, she wants to use me as a poster child LOL. The heart healthy network is going to do a feature article on me :) I go on the 17th of Oct to the cardiologist so they can determine whether the low blood pressure, tachycardia, and palpitations are something more serious and have him give the go ahead for me to use one of the traditional CH preventatives, and Frova as an abortive!! YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I'm soooooooooo glad I found this place and have been able to take control over my life and treatment :) Cat |
