Title: 3rd party post - Med donations
Post by Peppermint on Oct 10th, 2002, 11:23am
Hi everybody,
I'm still here - I have a message from a Clusterhead  - this person would like to remain anonymous...

Donating:
Imitrex injections, 6 mg - 4 shots
Imitrex pills - 100 mg - 9 pills
Available beginning the middle of next month (Nov.)

This person has found something else that works better for him...but he will continue to fill his prescriptions and pass them on as a donation.
As he says, its not a lot, but it may help someone get through that last stretch when they're out of their own meds.

If anyone out there can use it, there it is.

PFDAN,
Peppermint

I can't give away the Clusterhead - but he is fairly new here...a newbie if you will.

He was ever so grateful for finding this place, a haven as I see it, and in spite of all the family feuding, he's very excited about you all.  I never heard such a readiness to give, probably because he's received one of the biggest gifts in his life.

I've given DJ some information pertaining to the donations. I don't know whether he wants to mediate or how this is generally handled; I'm sure he'll let me know one way or the other.  In the meantime, hope someone could use the meds.

One last thing - this is not a one time donation.. it will be ongoing for as long as he is able to receive it.

That's all.

You might want to be careful those Imitrex injections dont go to someone with a bad heart, in case of death you would be charged with manslaughter.

Just a thought

In the other post the ones up for givaway were only going to be given to someone with a script for the stuff.  Hopefully that is the case with these as well.

I love seeing this good stuff posted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thanks to all who made this happen !!

Pep,

You may also want to suggest to him that he should stockpile some meds for the next onslaught.

Hey Jonny,
I MYSELF, am not giving anything away...
I am passing on a message - and it makes sense that the person who would be receiving this would have a scrip for it...that is, is already taking this medication, for example.

Sorry. I didn't know another way to go about it...
Any suggestions?  How do the other donations that have come up on the board - how do they get safely to the people who need them?  I certainly do not wish to put anyone in harms way..

Insist on a scanned image or digital pic of the med your giving from the person your giving too, That is the only way to know for sure. If they are taking that med they will have a pill bottle of old Trex holders laying around.

Good point about the script, But since your going to let him and DJ work this out I'm sure they will take care in who gets the meds.

Seeing DJ's in the Military and has already supplied this website I would never ask him to be involved in anything that could jeprodize his  military status.

I told you how to do it so if you want to do it then do it, I will help if I can.

BTW: My name is not "HIM" ;D
