Hi guys,
My husband and I were thrilled to find out two weeks ago I was pregnant again. Wouldn't you know after a 4 year remission, the damn monsters have returned! :-[

My fellow clusterheads, you know it's impossible to stay still on a kip 10 attack - (so, with the nausea that "blesses" a pregnancy, my life has been a living hell)... Any ideas for relief? I've read on this board, for most sufferers pregnancy offered relief from the demons. I am begging my doctor for Oxygen as that appears to be the only "natural" relief.

What angers me is everyone around believes that I am just going through 'normal pregnancy stuff" or I am just being oversensitive or whining because I am pregnant.

Jumping jacks or running provided relief during my last cylce, not this time. Can't take any drugs either that won't hurt the baby. Can't get an appointment with a Neurologist for at least 3 weeks.

I woke my husband up last night banging my head on the wall.. I was so scared I would do something stupid to myself. I wanted to take every drug in the house I could get my hands on. I begged the Lord to take my life

The ice pick is still in my eye and I feel another one coming soon. I will smile throughout childbirth. That pain has NOTHING on this.

:'(i'm so sorry to hear the monsters are back in force! I will pray for you daily!!

If the doctors know you have had clusters in the past maybe that would help you get O2 soon.

Wonderful news on your pregnancy. Sorry to read that the demon has returned. Hope that this cycle is a short one.

Congrats on the pregnacy .... so sorry about the clusters. If you are using the same Neuro you have used in the past .... try camping out in their office ... they HATE when you do that !!!! They just might find those extra few minutes to see you at the end of the day. Or just try calling to get a script for O2 from your regular doc or your OB. Might work.

Oh NO! I never had a cluster while pregnant (for some reason always felt just DANDY while pregnant, but right after birth - WHAMO - came home with my bundle of joy and massive ch :(

Ask doc about oxygen and check out the info here on it. It's natural and no side effects. works for TONS here. maybe cup a strong coffee right when feel coming on. Gotta get it quick! I know some docs say watch caffeine while pregnant......

the rest is coping methods: ICE paks, cold shower, hot shower, hot tub along with cold paks to face, there is a bunch of info here. Use the search key up at the top right of the screen and go the the archives at the buttons to the left.

I am sorry the Devil wants to dance. :'(
I stand in the shower until the water turns cold and sometimes that helps.
I will be praying for you, hang on, it will get better, you know it will.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and suggestions. It's so awesome to have someone understand!

My husband got on the phone with the doctor this afternoon after I got a Kip 9 at work.

The tanks have just arrived. If this keeps up.. I can just picture what I am gonna look like with a big belly lugging this tank around like I am being pumped up with air... ;D LOL

LOL, :D can remember giving baby bottle while wheelin that o2 contraption around the house. Baby gets a suck, mommy gets a suck - LOL. NUTS ;D

There is a theory I have about pregnancy and CH, that I find appealing. Maybe appealing is all it is......... ???

Nothing is more basic than babies. Our purpose here is to make more of us. Anything that may get in the way of this is frowned upon by our system which says "hold it! I ain't time for this shite now!" Perhaps a little thing called self-preservation puts in its two cents long enough for us to do what we're supposed to do. ???

For us with the deeper voices, Super Bowl tickets can have a similar effect ::)

Screw the maintenance crew that allows this horror to return though. >:(

Well after 2 days straight of shadows, I can write this without having one eye shut.

I am terrified to leave the house, not knowing when the next one finds me. These damn things are running my life. I feel terrible, my husband and children want me to go out and do things and I am just so mean and nasty.

I hate this. ???

Hey, give yourself a break. Bein pregnant and takin care of business can make the most docile minded turn cybil.

Only shadows? No full blown? How is the o2 workin? Did ya ask the doc about coffee?

Nothing full blown since Thursday when I got the oxygen. As soon as I felt the devil trying to creep in I'd throw the oxygen on. This seems to keep it at bay and give me shadows instead that last all day, mocking me as a painful reminder of what's yet to come.

But now, I don't know what's worse, the shadows and waiting for "it" to happen or getting the headache and getting it over with to have a few hours of peace.

I know I am just being too picky now....

Know whatchamean. Crummy mental place. Beenthere. Hang tight. At least the beast is not roarin ugly head. I don't like the in-between shadows either.....Nerves are at "HIGH ALERT". Hang tight. :)
