Title: Jonny Please Help Post by karen j on Oct 9th, 2002, 7:34pm Jonny I am trying to help Jill with getting her some oxygen. I have a spare E tank however only have one regulator. I seem to remember you saying it was fairly easy to find one but can't remember how. I really have tried to search and tried the buttons on the left but I so suck at this :o. I promise to study harder next time if you could just remind me (or even give me a hint) as to how to find one of these blasted regulators. And did I mention that I am on day 6, yes 6 of predinsone and topamax and ok, I have no patience. OK I will stop rambling now and return to my padded cell. Karen |

Title: Re: Jonny Please Help Post by jonny on Oct 9th, 2002, 8:06pm Karen, The regulators that I have built are strictly built to fit welding 02 tanks for people that can not get a script for 02. Plus everyone I have built costs me $75, Ive had three built and gave them away to people that needed them. I can see if my gas guy will build one to fit a medical 02 bottle but I cant afford to pay for this one seeing I havent got a paycheck in 26 weeks. I will do every thing I can to keep the price to a minumum, im sorry I just cant take this hit now or I would and anyone that knows me knows I would. Let me know. ............................jonny |

Title: Re: Jonny Please Help Post by karen j on Oct 9th, 2002, 8:20pm Jonny I don't want you to pay for the regulator-only guide me to where to get one. Can they be purchased through a pharmacy? I am really new to this and just need to know which steps to take is all. If this is not something relatively easy to acquire, I can give her mine and see if my insurance will get me another one. Can always tell them I want to keep one tank at work so can probably justify having two. Just want to know if there is another option before I do that. Karen |

Title: Re: Jonny Please Help Post by jonny on Oct 9th, 2002, 8:36pm Ok, You have two options, you can either go to a gas house and have them build you one just like I do (Which is the cheapest way) or you can buy one (you dont need a script for a reg) which will cost you between $125-$300 new. keep in mind the prices I post here cause if you dont know the gas guy he could screw you, no more than $75 for a re-built and go with the lowest price on a new one...........Every reg is tested so it dont matter how much it cost......its tested. Hope this helps, if not I will help you. ..........................................jonny On second thought dont tell anyone your going to be breathing welding 02........an insurance thing for the gas house. |

Title: Re: Jonny Please Help Post by Axis on Oct 10th, 2002, 4:18am I can use welding 02 ????? Please tell me this is true please. My insurance is thur the city so they wont even let me try 02 in the ER or at my doctors office. We just had to go down and ask for food stamps and help with our rent and light bill this month, But I will cut off and sell my left arm to get some of this, Tell me how much money I'll need to get a regulator from one of you and a nonrebreathing mask, My wife gave me the ok to sell our wedding bands since they were the only thing the court was not allowed to take from us in the bankruptcy. Rod. PS up with a kp7 shadow right now, But still better the a CH, 1/4 trex tab not going to be enough so back to 1/3s hehe ouch, hurts to laugh oh well hehe |
