Title: Hello
Post by sueellen83 on Sep 8th, 2002, 7:39pm
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.  I am new to the site but, not to ch.  I have had eposidic ch for 30 years.  They started when I was 7.  It was so nice to finally find others who are going through the same thing I am.  I hope to hear from you soon.
            Finally found people who understand!!!!

Welcome to the board!  Sorry that the beast is attacking your cranium with anti-tank munitions, enjoying watching your head get blown into many little piece, only to piece it back together to shoot off another round.  Welcome to the family!

Hi! I am new to the site and comparatively new to ch's when I read some of these stories. I made it through 45 years with nothing and then they came out of nowhere! They were chronic at the time, then after several unsuccessful meds, I found one that worked for me.  Then I had 5 years with nothing-and now they are back. The medications are great for me-I can't complain...When they returned I started poking around on the internet and found this site. It has been great to read other people's stories and a wealth of information.
Welcome aboard-Jabeen

Welcome to our little corner Sueellen.  I hate that you had to find this place but we know, really know what's going on when you feel like unscrewing your head.

You will find help here of some kind. If you look enough, something will be useful to you. I know how that sounds but give it a try.  You might want to try the technique I post here that I call "circulatory feedback." It's harmless to us but not to the beast:

Stick around and let us know how you're doing.

Charlie

Rick. All suffering?

Absolutely not.

Many of us are out of cycle, some for many years. Those out of cycle simply stick around to support others who are either chronic or in cycle. Thats the key to the boards longevity. Don't up and run when you are PF.

Stick around bud!
