And why do you think that?  IE what has changed that makes you think you are becoming chronic.

I am reserving the right to believe I may be chronic for another 4.5 months.  If at that time you are still interested, I will provide my opinion.  Thank you.  :P

I personally think I toggle from chronic to episodic from time to time.

For me I'm chronic if I have not had a 14 day PF run for a several months.  I'm episodic if I have had several 14 day PF runs between CH for several months.  That's my opinion.  I may be wrong, I have been before,  thought I was wrong but I wasn't.

Sounds like you're fully episodic, Echo. Chronic is when you don't get 14 consecutive days PF in a year. Once those several months pass and you get the 2 weeks you have to start the clock again.

Thanks Ted,  I stand corrected.  It is nice to know that over the years I have moved to the episodic arena.  Hopefully, with time, these little jewels will move out entirely.

Since you asked....
I think I'm turning chronic.  Yup, I know... don't become preoccupied with it... it's only time...
My current cycle started mid-September 2001.  Since then the only unmedicated pain free days were thanks to Verapamil or shrooms.

What have I done differently?  This is first cycle treating with O2, Verapamil, and shrooms (but, of course, this in no way demonstrates causality for my extended cycle).  When it became apparent that my cycle was not going away, I detoxed from Verapamil on July 11 and started shrooms.  Since then O2 has been my only abortive since I stopped using Imitrex also.  I'm better off now with the shrooms.

Previously my cycles have lasted for 6 months (starting somewhere around 1995(?).

Why have I become chronic?  I don't know.  Bad luck or bad biology I guess.
