Just wondering if this med causes erectile dysfunction like some other kinds of bp meds do? Just started taking it and was wondering.

Updated 9-4 - Well, I tried it out this weekend and everything seemed to work like it's supposed to. Maybe a little slower getting there but I can live with that! Thanks for all your help!!!

uh huh. And, if you're really lucky, you get constipation from hell along with it.

not with verap, although my last cycle i had way to many trex injections, got it up but very little sensation my wife loved it i could go all night!!! ..............2late

But...it's not very common at all. I've been on it for years with no problems whatsoever. It's not even listed as a major problems on the warnings for the drug. Jim R

welp.. I dunno if it is due to the Verap.. or just an end to my "PEAK" but I was havin a fine old time many many times a week!...till I started takin the Verapamil..then it all came to a screetching halt. Although I was less than happy with that side affect.. I actually think hubby was grateful!

Already answered the erection issue, however, I have noticed since going to 480 mgs./day that I am more tired during the day, am somewhat short of breath, and am sleeping much more than I was prior to the increase. Has anyone noticed this with verapamil? Jim R

Verap lowers your blood pressure so fatigue is in the equation.

Seriously, from Verap I got only the same effect of 2late (good nickname for the effect...:-) )
Otherwise, if you want to talk about the nice betablockers.... uhmmm.... we can talk for ages about ....failures..... ;D

Seemed to have that effect on me. Then I stressed out over the whole thing, quit the drug, continued to be stressed out and that was the start of the downward spirial.
I remember when he used to stand proud and watch me shave, now he hangs his head and watches the floor. I think he's protecting me from ground attacks.
