Title: Dr Robinson,speaker at convention
Post by tracy on Aug 26th, 2002, 11:33pm
Dr Robinson is the neurologist speaking at the convention. While he already has his topic set he has asked that if any of you have some specifics or questions you would like discussed to let me know and I will let him know at my appointment next week. This will give him lots of time to prepare! So think people this is a great opportunity with a doctor who is very supportive of OUCH. Even if you are not attending convention please post or email me at tracylee@shaw.ca  as I will ensure he reveiws!  Thanks Tracy

Tracy, will his speech be recorded or transcribed for those of us unable to attend?

Tracy,

Here's one that I've been wondering about for some time.  "Why am I (and others) chronic and most people who have clusters, episodic?  If the cause is the same, shouldn't the result be the same? "     Linda

Sherry, I'm sure it will be. I'll make sure something to that effect happens even if it is my version of notes!

Good question Linda I'll pass it on to him!   Tracy

My question:
We all have different meds that function with us. And some are "heavy impact" (including 'shrooms')
I always wondered if a physical shock can abort a cycle (with the attacks, sometimes, it does). With physical shocks I mean bad or heavy reactions to the meds, a surgery, a car accident, etc.)
This could means that, e.g. the shrooms don't function for its own properties, but for the shock they give to us.... and is quite different.

Thanks Tracy
