smoking cigs,after 22 yrs of smokin',i'm done. It's monday morning @ 6:40 & i'm now wearin' a nic. patch. Sick of hackin' & the cost,wish me luck......... ......................2late

Great. I quit 1980.

What finally let me succeed was, no beer for 4 months. You probably don't need to go so long (if you drink) but alcohol scewed me every time. It works.

After two weeks, it should get easier.

well am half way through my first day gagging for a smoke but the gum is firmly in place oooooooooooh the nicotine, and thank u for your support u are a true gent and good luck i am still there and i will wake up not hacking like an old man. i will have money my mother is also quitting and she gave her self a mantra

"i want to be healthy wealthy and happy
this is the best birthday present i could ever give myself"

not bad eh? and she has smoked for 35 years on 40 a day so what ever pain we have hers is a lot worse!

ok this is getting very hard now, i am thoroughly pissed off and have had a shite day and i really really want a tab. the gun aint enough, please can i have just one? ??? i want one and i cant let my self, god this is hard, stress i hate stress and my puter is pissing me off i have just about had enough of it and i want a strong drink.... from the frying pan into the fire !!!

Kelly, I know you can do it hon .... just keep saying no to those urges .... and find something to take your mind off it. Go for a walk ..... being able to breath while walking will inspire you.
