OK, gang - we've got room for 5 more golfers!!! But that's it. Deposit has been paid and trophies are on order.

We will be playing at the Mylora Golf Course, not far from where the convention is being held in Richmond, B.C. (suburb of Vancouver, Canada).

Course fees are $27.00 and it is a Par 3 course. Clubs and carts are available for rent at $11 for clubs (you can share clubs with one other person) and $4 for pull carts. Tee-off time is 9 a.m. and we should be done by early afternoon at the latest. Lunch and beverages will be available at the clubhouse (or at any of the nearby restaurants) and looks like it's all quite reasonably priced. Especially when you do the conversion from US to Canadian dollars!

We will be playing a Best Ball format, matching up experienced golfers with beginners. This is just a fun day out - certainly not a serious competition by any means!!! If anyone is renting a car in Vancouver, please let me know - we need to organize car pools to get to the golf course.

LOL TS.

All Par 3 means is that the total distance we have to walk is shorter. It's a good thing, trust me. ;)

And, we WILL only give YOU one club. You just have to promise me that you won't clobber anyone with it. Not even Jonny, ok?

To save money and if only one club is needed a set should do us all!!!I will share mine.

Bob P has short legs but I bet he could out run Riccardo but then again Riccardo is like the jolly green gaint he can take two steps and be in front of Bob. Hmmmm thats a hard one.

Peria now there is a lady that is all smiles for her we should put her with Bonnie , and Bill and his wife Deb those four don't do anything but laugh and smile !!! That should be a great team there. They will blind us with their teeth 8)

Mike Bob P and Warren and Jonny that that would make a team. The tropheys you could give to those four!!!

Nut, crazy , in heat and good looking!!!!

Karla Ted and Tracy, and Maria....I don't know Tracy and Maria well enough to make fun of them but I can tell you if Karla and Ted golf like they chat they will be the winning team !!!

Then there isw Dave E ,Stefano and PierUgo As good looking as they are I am sure a lay will volunteer to team up with them. We will call them the studd team!!!

That leaves you Linda H DJ and me! Now thats a team that has potentual! not sure what butwe all have some!

OK, TG, Elaine has stolen the first question (Why a set of clubs and WTF is a Par 3.)

Second question: is sex allowed during a golf game? And, if yes, have to be rigorously heterosexual?

Third question: with the clubs....have I to strike the head of the challengers, the heads of my team, the balls? And, if the balls, which balls?

Fourth question: those little holes in the green have to be used by the single male players for .... uhhmmm....

Fifth question: keep in mind that "golf" in Italy means (really!) a wool sweater. Can I play golf with a cotton sweater?

Sixth question: what is the difference between COURSE, CURSE and COARSE?

Seventh question: BUT WHY have I to make me fool of myself with those strange things like wood iron 1 2 3 4 balls holes clubs carts caddies set Par and so on....... :(?

Elaine - I am falling off my chair laughing here - didn't know that Warren was in heat!! What did he do in Atlanta??

If this continues at the golf course, I will never make it around the course - will be laughing too much.

When I was in Los Angeles, I had a friend try to teach me to at least not look stupid with a 8 iron in my hand.

We played a 3 hole, 3 par course. First hole.....4 shots to the cup thingy.

Second hole.......hmmmmmm. About 17 strokes I think. I stopped counting on the 3rd hole. This should really be fun. If anyone brings a video camera, I personally will stomp it into the ground. Linda

Ladies I would be happy to give you Lessons in playing golf. I would start you all out using irons and gradually work you into the woods.........lol ;)

And Jonny I could use some of that hair for the top of my head and if you still have enough hair left BobG might have need for some. ;D

It's just that it's starting to grow in places where it's never been before and not growing where it was before.

Margi, I will be driving my SUV to Vancouver so I can provide a ride for 4 other golfers to the golf course. I also can bring two extra bags of clubs for right-handed players, so some don't have to rent them. And I have balls, yes, I have a garage full of golf balls and will bring them so others don't have to buy them. FORE ;D Maria

LMAO! Drk! I got a mental picture of all these SUV's riding all over the course with the drivers whacking the balls with their clubs out the window. Kinda a polo thing!

Wish I could be there!

(speaking of SUV's, I had a Geo Tracker once and on the registration it was described as "sputil" for sport utility. My husband and I now refer to SUV's as "sputils" Pronounced spew-til)
