Title: Good and bad news...
Post by Drk^Angel on Aug 21st, 2002, 12:00am
Good news is... I'm goin' to the amusement park today with my family and in-laws.  Gonna be spending all day there ridin' the rides and stuff.  They've got a water park there too, but I'll prolly stay away from it.  Chlorine is bad enough when I'm out of cycle, don't want to see what'll do when I'm in cycle... LOL

Bad news is... The beast is breaking through the verapamil.  Anyone who've talked to me in chat, prolly knows that I haven't had an actual attack in a few weeks, just shadows.  The last couple days, the shadows have been getting worse during my normal attack times,.  I had a fairly mild attack (kip5) while at werk yesterday, and I'm expecting one this morning, prolly in a couple of hours.  I'll let y'all know how it goes today.  Hopefully the beast will go back to sleep for the day.

PS...   I wonder if there'll be enough room to take my O2 with me... LOL

Wishing you the best of luck to get out and have some fun today...without the beast digging his claws into your eye socket and pulling your eyeball out, stomping on it, chewing it up, spitting it out, and shoving it back in your eye socket...
How was that?
Anyways, good luck,
Mast

Welp... The beast stayed asleep, or the Trex tab I took for my migraine symptoms stopped the beast before he started... Dunno which, and don't really care.  Just glad I didn't need to do the dance in front of the in-laws or hundreds of strangers.  I just know that if I'd had gotten an attack at the park, my father-in-law would've said something stupid about it, I'd of ended up in the county lock-up for the rest of the day for throwing him on the coaster's tracks...

One bad thing that happened during the day was my 4 year old son, Davy, runnin' off for a few minutes.  We had a pavillion near a playset, so we'd let him go to the playset whenever he wanted to, and I'd sit and watch him (even though everyone kept tryin' to distract me all day).  Well... It was time for my neice to open her b-day presents, and I was taking pictures.  I figured that there was 7 other adults there that could watch him for a few minutes so that I could take the pics.  I doubled checked that someone was watching him, and then concentrated on the camera.  About five minutes later, my wife is asking where Davy was, and the other adults, when they finally bothered to pay attention, just looked at each other with blank stares.  They had let him go to the playset, but everyone was buzy watching my neice open her presents, and didn't see that he didn't go to the playset near us... He went to the one about 150 yards away.   Needless to say, after that experience, it was a bit difficult for me to have a good time.  Oh well...
