Title: Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Post by catlind on Aug 16th, 2002, 11:24am
Friday afternoon, hubby on leave, kids all happy, and of course the beast decides to hang around with a 6 on the increase.  So much for all those little kippers...the beast decided that there's no way he's gonna let me off easy aRgh.

Of course, if anyone saw me right now with my gel mask on my face and another gel mask around the back of my neck, drinking a hot coffee in 80+ degree humid weather rocking back and forth they'd certainly commit me to the nearest looney bin.

Of course life would be just fine if the FUCKING MILITARY INSURANCE would get their shit together and give my a regulator that delivers more than 1/8 lpm - 6 lpm
SCREAM

Okay I'm done venting now

Sorry to hear that the beast is messin' with ya like that.  Hopefully it'll go back to sleep soon, and stay asleep, so that you can enjoy at least some of the day.  And good luck with the regulator!

I'll go see my gas guy tommorrow and see what he can do about building a reg for ya, just make sure you cant get one from the military cause this guy dont work free......LOL ;D

Look on the nut that connects the reg to the tank,
if CGA-540 is stamped on it we are good to go if he has all the right used parts. I say "USED" cause a new reg goes anywhere between $175 and $300, dont worry everything he builds are put through tests.....hell!, my house aint blown up yet.....LMMFAO!!!!! ;D

Im far from an angel, if I can help ease someones pain I will.

14 yrs with no meds chronic will do that to a guy.

Thanks bunches for the offer Jonny, I'll let you know on Monday whether or not I can get one.  Thanks to everyone else as well for the well wishes.  Unfortunately this one hit me hard, REAL hard and we spent the entire afternoon in the ER.  Had to convince them to let me go home though....one of those things where they wanted me inpatient for pain management.  NO THANKS.  I still have a bruised arm from the IV they gave me in MARCH.  Sheesh I have a CH, if I let them admit me I'll be dead for sure! LOL

Anyway, got some good folks working things now so hopefully we'll get it sorted out soon.  The O2 co. called today while I was at the ER so maybe they were calling to say they had a regulator for me.

Thanks again everyone, there is no more compassionate loving group of people I know than this board.

Jonny, is the regulator one like yours with the bubbler?

If so, I take the offer.  I'm getting hit again today and I'll be damned if I'm gonna wait on the O2 company losing scrips and the military health care fighting me on it.  Turns out that the tricare (the military HMO also know as try and get care) won't approve the higher flow rate so we have to back through another 3rd level review and who the hell knows how long that will take  >:(

I threatened the folks at tricare, so they don't like me much anymore....told them I was going out to get the most contagious disease I could find and coming to their headoffice LOL.

Debbie, I checked out the nefedipine (sp) cause it was one I hadn't heard of either.  Unfortunately me and my chronically low blood pressure and heart issues make that one a no go for me either.  Ah well, at least the celexa helps to prevent the cycles, just gotta get this one broken :/

Thanks bro, you da man :)

I can handle the bubbler for sure, as long as the regulator allows one to be put on it LOL

I am continuously fighting with the healthcare system to try and get things done and they are getting me to the point I'm going to do something mean LOL

Just ask the pentagon about my inspector general complaint about finances ;)  Was cool to actually have a letter answered from the pentagon LOL

Hmmm wonder if they'll wanna deport me now LOL

Just who do you think I am?.....Don?........Slammy?

We are in my backyard now, shit is done right or it is not done at all.

If you want I can have outlets for six bubblers......LOL

But me thinks you only need one.

While your talkin with the pentagon see if you can have that judgement against for.....nevermind

ROFLMAO

I'll see what I can do ;)

Although I may have to do it from Canada...that is if they let me back in there...I've pissed some of the gov't off there too! LOL

Trouble just seems to follow me around...maybe that's why I'm so at home here....I found a whole slew of trouble! LOL
