Texas is great!! The drive out took us 20 hours!! :P My husband and I drove our dog whose name is Daisy. (we drove miss daisy!) A lot of Texas is flat, but where we are there are big awesome mountains. It is beautiful. We live on the border of Mexico and Juarez is a trip! There are pharmacies there where you can get just about any drug for cheap! People will come up and ask if you are looking for valiums or lorcets. It's weird! I was thinking of inquiring about imitrex injections next time I go down there. Although, I am so glad to say, I do not need them at this time. SSSSSHHHHH!!! Don't say anything else about that! Don't want IT finding me all the way out here! No neurologist yet! :-X

Hi there nice to meet you. I'm the newbie of the board. LOL When I lived in CA and AZ I used to go to Mexico and get the imitrex shots for myself. The insurance wouldn't cover them.

Hummm wanna send me some valium. LOL

very cool! or...uh.........HOT!!! Today and yesterday it was in the 100s! whew!! I love it. People are soooo nice here. I was a little hesitant leaving my southern hospitality behind, but I din't leave a thing. If you ask for directions, they draw you a map AND give you the phone number!! It truly is an awesome place. I feel blessed.

When ya get a chance see salt flats, painted desert and drive to Marfa, Alpine and Fort Davis, its not like party town but you'll see, oh and you may wan't to rent a car for this drive, from El Paso its about 2 to 2.5 hours @ 120 mph almost all the way non stop didn't even see a cop except boarder patrol, both trips...... :)

Nice to see you CG and pain free at that! So someone besides Den is living in Texas? Great.

Someone is living around El Paso? Even better. Where do I send the deed to my stupid Horizon City plot that I'll never be able to use? I'm serious. I inherited this but I could, and never would live in heat of El Paso, so if someone wants it, it's all yours.

Glad to read you are back online. Nothing like spending 20 hours in a car with a dog to make one thankful to finally have arrived at the chosen location. You can have the 100 degree temps. This Minnesota boy cannot handle it. Glad to read you are PF - hope you stay that way for a very long time.

They may be big in Texas, but they play duck and cover in Minnesota. (must be a cold weather thingy)
