Beastie beastie in my head
You show up, my eye turns red
You stab and bore and make me cry
I will win, I will not die

When the searing pain is gone
When beastie sleeps and all is done
With the shadows come the fear
I know the beast is always near

You show your evil in the dark
Your branding iron makes its mark
Pain is the tool you choose to use
But I am strong I will not lose

Beastie beastie in my head
You have lost, I am not dead
You are there with pain to give
I ignore you now, I'm going live

My life is mine to have and enjoy
I refuse to play, I'm not your toy
Beastie beastie in my head
Very lightly now you tread

You cycle through and think you win
I suggest you think again
My clusterbuds are my support
Our defence this CH Fort

I am strong and will overcome
Beastie's worn out his welcome
Love lives here amongst my friends
You're reign of terror is near it's end

Beastie beastie in my head
You will be the next one dead

Cat,
I 've just read your poem w/one red eye , right on!

my meds. and oxygen work well, this is the first one 8 or 9 on kip that has snuck in 5 days which is great, took an hour an a half but I kicked the beasts ass... after he had his way with me for a while.

Mark,
I wrote that as I was ending my 12:30 battle with the beast. I sat here saying beastie beastie in my head, then decided I could make something of it LOL

I'm no poet, but it was a way for me to describe my mental status and stubborn resistance to the beast :)
