Well folks,

As you've noticed, there's been some problems the last few days with the message board. I'm sorry about that. It wasn't a problem with any of your computers, it was a problem with the server this site is on.

I've talked to the company that hosts the site (which those of you who have been here for a while know stuff like this RARELY happens), and they believe they have the problem fixed.

If you get any more server errors after this post, please send me an email and let me know.

As for all of the old posts, they're all still on the server, but unfortunately the file that kept track of all of them was corrupted and all of the data was lost. Basically, the messages are still there, but the message board doesn't know where to find them.

In the future, I will manually back up the file and maybe move posts month by month to a different location (kind of like the Feb. posts).

Sorry for any inconvience (Jonny). lol

Great job DJ...kinda surprised you got through to the server so fast. Figured nothing would be fixed till Monday.
So, I haven't had any errors on the board since you posted earlier, but the CHAT is really messed up. About every other sentence you have to refresh. And it comes up with all kinds of errors including "can't find on this server" stuff.
Just wanted to let ya know.

All I can say DJ is thanks for this site, it has helped me alot to understand clusters, and got me through the nasty pain. Bless you for doing this.

Thanks for explaining the error. My only bummination is, I was startingto read old posts, to try and keep up on what is happing, but the truth is, this board has grown so much since I was offline, I felt overwhelmed with reading sections at a time...

Oh well, I guess I am just stuck living in the present

Yeah Jonny, I hear the Cluster gang kidnapped you on the beer run, until they discovered you were on the way to get the beer instead of on the way home. Realizing they struck out, after tatooing your temple and facial nerve, you made the escape, knowing the beer wasn't going to buy itself, or drink itself. That's focused.
