My new pm disapeared!  Help!

I just received a new pm and after reading it I left my pm screen.  When I went into my pm screen latter the new message was gone and no longer there.  All my old messages are still there.  Just my one new message is gone.  I only had 7 pm stored.  This happened to Vig also any suggestions DJ.
