Hi Kim,
I, too am a sufferer, with the same dillemna. I try to do little things along the way to show my appreciation. A surprise subscripton to a coin magazine, purchase of an expensive hot rub he wouldn't buy for himself, spend Saturday aftenoon watching (gag)westerns. I don't have to make a big deal of it, he knows.
BTW I live in Kansas, too hasn't this weather been the pits???
