Dave came home and asked for his preventative. He got a Ch last night while resting at work... it has been 17 months since his last CH attack... God Help Him... please remember him in your prayers... love to you all Pain free days and cozy fall nights.........~~~Ree~~~

HOPIN AND PRAYING IT WAS JUST A FLUKE... IT STILL WAS AN ISOLATED ATTACK... but Im not fooling my self last time he had one 4 days later another and then closer and closer and then more and more and more and more etc... till they were all day everyday for like 8 weeks straight then they went down hill and spaced out again and then stopped that was March 2001 so it has been 17or18 months... sux for sure... ree

It better just be a fluke! I think the anticipation must be nealy as difficult as actually dealing with an attack! A weekend of peace must be nice, though, compared to what you were both fearing!

Were ok still hanging in there he went to the medicine chest first thing and he is working his way up the Neurontin ladder... He is totally exhausted but no second attack yet... hes not normal feels something in the background but not full blown yet... This is how his cycle starts spaced out then they get closer and closer... hopefully he stopped them in their tracks... will be a first for Dave but we'll see... He still is saying he isnt going to get them...

Aw, rats, honey  I'm so sorry to hear that it's time to go to battle again. Know that we are here for you, fellow warrior. You know where to come when you need a hug or maybe a kick in the ass, girl (we all do get to that point in cluster cycles).

This is the first time I've read the supporters posts. It's really interesting to see the other side. Now I have an understanding of what my husband goes through with me. But I stray from the question. Yes, unfortunately, I have had gaps in my cycle several times. I had a KIP 10 in June then nothing until about the middle of August, when the cycle started for real.
Thanks, to all the supporters, You can't possibley know how much you are loved and appreciated.

Thanks... he got right on his preventative and its been a few shadowy type headaches but thats it... unless he is lying...(hes known to occasionally do that to me) This is the first time in all of his Cluster Life that he has had this happen this way... hoping the preventative is holding them back... thanks for the note... ree

Hey, I really hope that this is it then, holding off and all - or altogether.
You brought up an interesting point. I didn't dare ask this, its like blasphemy, but has he really lied about a headache coming on...? ??? When the symptoms or timing, or name "triggers" don't make sense, then do you think he's lied, or is it possible that its just different for that time around?
I have my reason for asking... maybe we need to IM or chat or something. I feel so bad even asking about this.
