For new clusterheads or supporters

Is it possible from the library of OUCH to make a packet of info to send out to our new sufferers or supporters. It seems that the major problems they have is the questions. If some of you can fix that ,it might help our newcommers a bit. Guessing the worst job is to put something together and send it. If its the same in US as in Norway we find NOTHING at our docs office Its just a question but think about it? Svenn

Hi Svenn Well, although I agree with you that when we arrive here, we are chock full of questions, I'm wondering if you know about the wealth of information that is already contained in the OUCH website? Over the years here, a lot of us have compiled lots of information for everyone. In the pull-down menus above the map at the OUCH site, there is a listing there for the Family Services Team. This one is designed specifically for supporters. All at the click of the mouse! It's definitely a great place for a newcomer to start - to go through each of the menus over at OUCH and check out each entry. There's something valuable in EVERY link ... AND its available to everyone, OUCH member or not. Mailing out info packages costs money, and because we're a charity, we try to automate as much as we can so we don't have to incur too many expenses. Does this help?

Rats. I'm sorry, Svenn... Are you, perhaps, asking about a brochure that we could leave in doctor's offices? Because we do have one of those at the OUCH website too. There are also a few editions of the newsletter there - all easily printable by anyone, anywhere. Does that help?

I asked this because its not every newcommers here that are putergeecks and know how to search in our library. Lets say a little"booklet"or what you call it with news about headaches no more then 6mnth old so we can mail"not snailmail"to the newcommers&supporters that found us and really need all the help they can get. A little bit of what OUCH stands for has to be there to. explaining how to search and so on.Hopefully you understand this babelfish-english. I`m talking just about a little "welcomething" Svenn
