Who said stress isn't a trigger?
« on: Sep 27th, 2003, 1:23pm »

I received a letter from the IRS last night telling me they were auditing me for the year 2001.
I have had about 8 headaches since then.
Anyone else here been audited? I have to wait a month to be seen...I would rather get it over and done with next week.

Ok, take a deep breath.... now repeat after me.... "I have CH - what the hell can the IRS do to ME!!!"

2001 is their pet year right now - and yes I've been to 5 audits this year..... that's what I do.....

My last one I had a CH in the middle of it... Think the auditor took my word for everything after that. Might try that one ...

Just remember that the auditor is NOT YOUR FRIEND!!! no matter how "sweet" they come across - Don't volunteer any information - answer "yes" or "no" and don't give them Anything they don't specifically ask for. And you'll be fine.

If you have an accountant - Let the accountant go to the audit and YOU stay home. I NEVER let a client go to an audit. And if you don't get respectful treatment WRITE your Senator and give them details (name of auditor and everything - they can get something done!).

Call me if you need help...   Hugs  BD

I do believe that stress can be a factor too while in a cycle. It (highly stressful events) could be a trigger for alot of us. I know it is a trigger for me.
Last year I had this psychopathic crackhead gunnin' for me. He used to call me everyday and threaten me. I would always tell him to bring it on, meet me somewhere, come over, or shut up. Then I'd hang up the phone and have a super bad cluster.

Never fear. Of all the branches of the US government, nothing is so well staffed with morons.....well that's not necessarily true since 2001, of course  Roll Eyes

Look on the bright side. You may wind up with a big check from them. If not, we'll help with your appeals.   Shocked

Sorry for the stress and that you're getting hit.  Oddly stress seemed to help me. Strange effen disease.

Give em hell.

well, that's another debate........

cuz some people say stress brings Ch on...... some say stress keeps it away.

Ramon, tho.. has skipped 2 cycles from being stressed out, i firmly believe.   We bought a house and moved when one cycle was supposed to be here... and he never got it.    ( he STILL hasn't thanked me for that!!   LOL   Wink )

You know what the Amish say...........

LOL Don.

When I get the letter that I screwed up from the IRS .... I pay the bill, cuss, and try to forget about it.  Yea, I have made mistakes on my income tax .............. call me stupid.  I've done it more than once.  The IRS loves me !!!!!!!!

Jayne, don't worry about them ...... all they can do is ask for more money.  Ask for a payment plan if ya can't afford it !!!!!
