Here I am again!!!

Well, the weather here in Texas is raining and I got hit this morning. So what do I do -- come to the MB of couse. Hubby is sitting here saying, "What can I do?" Of course NOTHING!!! Leave me the hell alone!!!
The demon has been lurking in the background for about a week (had a sinus infection) so I had a feeling it was coming, but hoping he would stay away for once.... no such luck.
Am down to about a 3 right now (after Cafagot) and almost human, but not a very nice person to be around right now. Didn't even go to work or take hubby to the doctor this morning (he had an appointment about 60 miles away at the VA - (told them they could reschedule or go to hell - they rescheduled). Hate days like this. I'm just not fit to be around humans when I'm like this - usually I'm a "lovely" person.
My dogs are even leaving me alone today (usually when "mama" is not feeling well they think rubbing them will help me feel better - today they know better). Geezzz, I'm a mess!
So, now that I've had a place to "vent", I'm gonna go take a hot shower, then get the ice pack out along with the headband and refrigerator magnets and suck some O2 (again) and try to get my act together. Maybe by noon I'll be human again and ready to face the human race again. At least I hope so.
Hope your day is going better than mine....

AW, sis, i hate this crap...up your topamax...THey took me off of mine till tomorrow when i return to the Doctor and I got hit last nite too....What dose are you on now? Hang in there...we both sure cant be getting hit next month in Florida...I could not imagine both of us together in pain....smiles, nancyc

Rudy and Gunny are still the top men in my life. They're still guarding my lap for all it's worth. At least someone loves me unconditionally except today.

Ok, Nancy, I upped the Topamax to 200mg. Maybe that will help. I still keep saying my HAs are triggered by the damn barometer. This time of year the thing can't decide what it wants to do and neither can my head even with the Topamax. I get a sinus infection because o the weather - then WHAM - the CH hits. I told my doc last week to give me something STRONG to get rid of the infection or this would happen. He thought he did, but apparently he didn't get rid of it.
I told you refrigerator magnets probably don't do any good, but it gives me something to do and I dont' kill anyone while I'm playing with them. You put them on pressure points under the headband and press on them. Move 'em around a lot cause they really don't do that much good. It doesn't take much to amuse me.....
Hubby Bill thinks I'm crazy today. I told him to get over here and read some of the posts on this board and he would think I was fairly normal, but so far he hasn't. He thinks I need to go to the emergency room. Yeah right! I've got to change out my O2 bottle. Wouldn't you know it - the darn thing decided to go dry on me TODAY!
Has anyone ordered their decals and T-shirts? I'm not at the office and the girls over there need something to do when I'm not there cracking the whip. ORDER something - put them to WORK.

PS Jean when ARE you coming to E Texas? We have a TEXAS Chapte to get together. This damn HA can't last long (Please tell me it can't last long) and we need to get our Get Together got Together.

Hope the increased dose works for you, lady. And, quit playing with those damn magnets. With your luck, you'll pull out a tooth filling or something!

Don't knock my magnets -- I have a great "collection" Mickey Mouse, Teddy Bears, Pictures of my Grandbaby (don't use them for CH) ABCs and all sorts of things. Decisions about WHICH ones to use gives me something to do. They come in various sizes and shapes so you can put the big ones where the pain is the worst and the small ones where it don't hurt as bad. It's a "fashion" statement if anyone comes knocking at the door (and that's happened!).
It wasn't near as spooky as the banana peels (only did that once - couldn't stand the fruit flies!). And the jalepenos you can have! Now the ginger ale and grape juice -- not bad --- didn't work, but not bad!
Come on guys -- you know how it is -- you gotta do something or go crazy. I play with magnets.....
