Had my apt. with the eye doctor and all checked out O.K They found no relationship to the photophobic light sesitivity discomfort I felt in both my eyes to the prednisone burst... The question did come up about side effects that I may have. The benifits that I have from prednisone to break the cycle highly outweigh any side effects that I may have to prednisone...So it all went well and got a thorough eye exam. We also added a pair of glasses for magnification to make it easier to read. Surf...

Dear Surf, Although many Clusterheads don't report light sensitivity, I've always experienced it during a CH. I need dark and quiet. During my last episode I took a lot of *triptans and some Verapamil. I experienced flashes in the outer bottom of my left eye, especially when I looked left. I also got a couple of "floaters" in that eye. My HAs are always on the right. My episode ended about a month ago, I'm off the meds. But I still have the floaters and occasional flashes. If they are from the meds, I consider it a small price to pay. Thanks for sharing your good news! Carla
