Catlind, and others, have been working VERY hard to get as many people involved in the upcoming survey about our quality of life.
If you have not emailed Catlind or signed on on her thread, please email her, saying you will join in the survey.
I am not sure many of you recognize how important this can be. How often do we see threads about how the insurance company limits the quantity of Imitrex? How about fighting to get insurance to cover O2 for Cluster Headache relief? How about the hassle just to get a doctor to prescribe these know abortives and preventatives?
This survey can get these remedies listed as being tried and true weapons specifically for Cluster Headaches! All of the above problems would then be SO much easier to deal with! With luck, those problems would be ELIMINATED!
Don has been reporting the historic advances that O.U.C.H. has made. Don and the worldwide O.U.C.H. leaders are setting a grueling pace. They cannot do this alone!
We are always talking and joking about grabbing an oar and start rowing. HERE IS PART OF YOUR OAR! Do your part!

I have about 225 replies right now. This is good, but we can do better. The more of us that are willing to do this survey, the better our database, the farther we can move in our cause to find a cure.
This really is important folks.
Before we can go anywhere with research and med labelling this is the first step.
Right now we are gathering an estimate of the numbers so that the survey can be prepared.
As I get further details I will let everyone know.

I already signed up but I'm gonna go back to Mr. Happy's suggestion. Cat, don't ya think emailing everyone that has registered might get you more responses ??? I thought Mr. Happy had a great suggestion with that. Not everyone signs on to the board anymore, but might still have the same email addy. Perhaps you could get DJ to help you auto-magically send out the emails ??????????? Just a thought!

I coined that phrase three years ago and its what keeps some people going that think they are at the end of their rope.....its not a joke, Bro

Jonny, I am sorry you took it that I thought it a joke. Nothing could be futher from the truth. I beleive in it whole heartedly, and if you were the one to start it, I comment you.
What I meant, is that we talk about it, AND we joke about it, as we joke about everything else. I did not mean to belittle it at all, and I appologize for seeming to feel that way.
I love the concept, and believe in it whole heartedly.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
