Tara, I don't see how any of us can't help but get depressed, to some point, during a cycle. We just have to work to fight against that.
Know that you have a lot that are here to help you fight it. Even if we become "wicked" nags at times!

Thats how the beast breaks you down.
I found during an attack im to motivated to wint he battle to get depressed, however its the waking up with a shadow knowing that its just around the corner, and the staying up late for fear of an attack that gets me depressed.
I make a mental note of the times that I laugh, or enjoy life, or the sunshine/rain/people etc etc with the intention of recalling them later.
Then when I get depressed I recall theses thoughs
and images/smells/sounds andthis changes my mood, maybe only slightly but it does.
I believe this is very basic Neurolinguistic Programming.
Try it-it works.

This is actually a CH New Years poem I wrote in
the past, but still works.

Yep......One year I got clinically depressed after the cycle stopped.....I just couldn't control my tears....so embarrassing crying at the grocery store check out stand......
It took another 6 months or so to get better.....

Yes.
I didn't think that that aspect would get to me but it has.
I really need to work at avoiding these feelings. I am trying but CH cycle since April is stealing the life out of me.

Thanks guys, you are all the best! And KOP....the pics DID make my smile ty and that poem was great! Turts those are great suggestions ty.
And those of you feeling a little or alot depressed, hang in there, you obviously are NOT alone, bookmark this thread if you need to to remember that. I know the biggest feeling that comes with depression is feeling so alone in your saddness and/or pain.
PFDAN's are coming to all soon I hope!
