I was going to ask DJ to pull the Raffle from the board because of lack of intrest! I been watching the board and trying to figure if all the work is worth it, if only a few are intrested. The Fundraising Team came up with the raffle idea so money could be made from people outside of O.U.C.H. we do know how hard it is for a lot of you, when you have to buy high priced meds.
I also know many of you are not intrested in O.U.C.H. for one reason or other. I know we have over a 1000 members. I have only 9 people intrested. The tickets are only $2 each.
I don't know what the problem is that people are not intrested. I tell you what I sure would like to know. I think the BOD would like to know also. There is a members board on the O.U.C.H. site. Post what you don't like, post your ideas. If you want the O.U.C.H. to change and be what YOU want it. Then change it! You can't change it by doing nothing! You say the UK O.U.C.H. is doing more. Go to that site, look at how many people are working. I know that in ever org there is always on a handful that do, I don't mind that, as long as there is people to do the work for.
I have said it a hundred times and I will always say it. We are not going to find the answers by sitting on our butts and not doing. O.U.C.H. can't change if the BOD don't know the reason for so little intrest.
I am not going to ask DJ to pull the raffle if I have to get out and sale all these tickets myself.
I am sending tickets out to the people that have asked for them. So far 280 tickets have been mailed out! We are going to do this one way or the other. It sure would be nice to have more help!
I would like to Thank the people that are helping. I would like to thank each person that is working trying to make things work! Their work is important even if only to a few people!
If the problem is me let me know cause I only want to help! If my helping henders O.U.C.H. I will step aside! Because O.U.C.H. is the only HOPE I know of out there! I want to see it work with or without me!
You guys post and tell me what the problem is or email me or the BOD!
If anyone wants to help email me I will see to it you get something to do.

I agree with you 100%....(other than that part about you being the reason...  ). We need to get behind OUCH and kick some ass. Get things moving in the right direction. Progress is being made, we got some interest from good people at the convention....but we need more interest from everyone here on the board.
I'll push this bloody thing to the ends of the earth.....I want a damn cure.

Elaine, calm down. I know I for one was gonna wait until closer to Dec 1st which is when the raffle shuts down to do anything. But because of stuff going on at home I thought ..... better get it done now or I never will. Perhaps other people feel the same way. You still have tons of time until the drawing is held. There are tons of people on the board who will help ......... just give it time.

Its all about trust Elaine with all the BS that goes on here. Do you think that people trust that their dollars will be used wisely, honestly and effectively... I am a little hesitant myself....sorry but its just how I feel. Why is it that there are supposed to be 4000 something members of THIS board and no one donates??? and what if they did... where do those $$$ go after that..? I need more information on where my dollar is going first. I think others feel the same way... Ree

There are treasury reports on the OUCH site...but I also am curious where the money is to go. Do we have any upcoming projects? Etc?

What do ya'll want done with the money? I have nothing to do with how it is spent my job is just to raise it. I took a leave when I was sick and am just now going back to work. I am not a BOD and I am Not a Officer. I can't answer your post Ree!
The whole idea behind Bob putting up the members board was so people would give ideas to them.
As a member speak out and you will be heard. They can't hear ya and know whats on your minds usless you get involved. I am sure any BOD or officer will answer your questions. Don't give up on O.U.C.H. use your membership go post your questions and ideas, thats your right as a member!

I'm sorry......I haven't even had time ta even mention this ta Brad yet......I'll take 10 tickets tho......is that ok ? Need ta git yer address and find out if it is ok to send the check via snail mail then you send tickets ? I'm tryin NOT ta charge anything else on my credit card and pay it off. Hope that's ok.......would a portion of money raised (if there's alot or enuff ta bother) be a good idea ta go towards the next convention ? Ya know.....kinda discount the rooms by a few bucks to attrack more people ect. Pam that isn't sure if I have good ideas or bad ones sum days

There will be a time that something will come up that O.U..C.H. will need the money for, and when it does wouldn't it be nice to have money to use?
