I found ch.com about a year and a half ago. I was in cycle and miserable and ornery and looking for medical info. I stumbled through these doors and nearly toppled over when I actually saw PEOPLE ......25 years all alone and here were all these PEOPLE like me! I wanted to reach through the computer, wanted to shout out loud.
Course, me bein me - well, shit happens - lol. I really don't think my story is unique in any way.
What I DO feel is unique is one very special lady. Her name is Cin. She reached through the fog with her long arm and found my small hand and grabbed it. She has not ever let go. Her kindness overcame my bitterness and confusion. Gradually we began talking and opening up as friends - we talked about our lives, family, kids, husbands, what made us happy, what made us sad, all the things that people talk about to someone they feel a trust and ease with. I came to admire this lady because she is not an "assuming" woman. Cin has a shy way about her but at the same time a couragious heart. We are different but there is a window in our hearts that we share such a precious space together.
This unassuming lady with grown up children of her own got in her car and drove - all alone- from Oklahoma City to Long Island New York - to see ME. She took to the highway with no guarantees. She navigated herself and took a leap of faith. She overcame a HUGE BLACKOUT ;D (the recent power outage) and pulled rite into my driveway. This lovely lady came inside bearing gifts for us all and we were blown away by the goodness of her***

You are an inspiration. Your courage and faith makes me want to be a better person. You speak in low tones but your heart is a roaring lion.
***NOTE***
Thanks to a fella named DJ who made this website, it is a positive and life-changing experience for we who suffer.
Meeting another cluster sufferer .............it brought me a peace of mind, a bonding of the soul that I still have difficulty expressing in words.

So true poopsie...I'm still beside myself that such a warm and delicate lady like Cin would take off across the country like that!!! Cin, I still have your wide-eyed expression in my memory, the one when you were telling me about driving through NYC the day after the Blackout. It makes me smile, then I think, MAN, THat's love. .....
yep....he done did it again....par for the course of course....

YUP Cin is very special.......I jus wish I coulda been a part of the get tagether out east......it jus didn't work out....way too much goin on that month here......dang it !! Pam that thinks Cin is awesome and the entire group that met
