could somebody tell me how much of the plunger
in the subject pen needs to be cut off to get a half dose of imigran
i have a spare pen so i will be able to get the 2nd dose okay,just need to know the other to get the half right

I just pull the vial out, peel the lable back and push the plunger till I see that ive taken one third or a half shot.

Dude,....dont cut the auto injector, pull the vial out.

jonny, i mean shotening the plunger on the pen so it shoots less imigran in.i want to try that way,before i try the tip.
i know it sounds sad,but i really don't like the idea of having to do it manually

Sorry bro.....ive never used the pen, straight out of the gate I used the vial and just inserted half a Q-tip to push on.
Its really not bad at all bro, just a jab and a push.....second nature second time around really.

A bro is hooking me up with a couple of Imitrex shots tonight, so I am gonna try the 'Trex tip.
Like I said, I am stupid in that I try anything once - including smearing a towel with Mentholatum, sticking it in the freezer, and then wrapping the head at onset. Didn't help, but I did almost go blind!
I hate needles, but I hate CH's more, so got to give this a try.
