The only way I will ever leave this board is if for some odd reason DJ bans me from it. I doubt that will ever happen though. I can't leave. It was heartbreaking enough the times I couldn't get online. My bandmates are great supporters, though they just don't know it. Members of my family are unsympathetic. That is thier problem, and I will not be a part of thier problem.
THIS BOARD has been the greatest source of support for me since '99, and I have met some of the greatest, coolest people here. It saddens me that I have missed the conventions. Riccardo even paid my registration fee one year, but I had no way to get there. That broke my heart worse than anyone could know. It is through this board I have met Elaine, Drummer, Jonny, again, I could go on and on. If it were not for this board, I wouldn't have known That Jim (JDH) is right across the river from me. We met last weekend, and for me it was unfuckingbelievable. Looking into the eyes of someone else who has 'been there' is very uplifting. After he left, I bounced off of the walls for a few hours. He doesn't know it yet, but I adopted him as a brother. Now, I can't wait to meet more Clusterheads, and look forward to OUCHFest more than I do Christmas. I can't leave. I have had so much negativity in my life that I need the support of the peeps here. There are 2 very, very special people here that I must meet someday. The sooner the better. Elaine helped me at a time when I could not help myself, and for that I am eternally grateful. DJ created a refuge from the CH storm, and when I found CH.Com - it blew me away! My sister in law read the board when I first found it and was reading peoples posts. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said "If I didn't know any better, I would think you wrote all of these posts. I never realized."
That is the thing: No one can realize it except us. If I ever get the honor to meet DJ and Elaine, man, that is a rush I can't imagine. Meeting Jim was a rush. Meeting Jonny will be - well. JUST TOO FUCKING COOL!!!

Yeah right...........I got fucken gyped!
Up the road from me is Jonny........long haired, tattooed guy whose sexuality is questionable at best.
AND
A little further up the road I got Bill L, a lurker who may be running an illegal slave trade from his home.
Good thing I got Ree and Dave around the corner. I can deal with illegal turtle importation. By the way Ree do those turtles have green cards?

Trust me Taraann, I've had the pleasure to meet him and read some of what he's written and he is an awesome guy AND a very talented writer.
And he's also one tough S.O.B. to fight CH's on a daily basis. I have all the respect in the world for those who are chronic w/CH's.
