Puter help 4 the dumbass

I got two DVD's of some hillarious shows one being "The young ones" (Jayne, you will know that one) and when I put them in the DVD drive it says it cant find "cdvdplay.exe"
 
Is this a driver?....I ran a search of my C drive and it cant be found....anyway I can D/L this anywhere....Ive used this DVD drive before but not in a long time.
 
Any help is appreciated, plus, I wont come kill you.....LMAO ;D

OK, what kind of system do you have? Make, model? I assume it is HP or Compaq.
 
Also, what version of windows....96,98,NT,XP yadda yadda yadda.
 
SHould be able to fix you up with more info.

If you like the Young Ones we could consider making you an honorary Brit! If you like Hitchhikers Guide, Red Dwarf and The Office as well you definitely have a Brit sense of humour!
Fubar is already one because he likes weird Brit comedy series.

You got that right... I have (on DVD or Tivo) every Monty Python *anything* aver made, 9 episodes of The Office and a whole lot of Rowan (Mr. Bean) Atkinson.

Hey Dumbass did you get the DVD working...??
 
Anyone seen League of Gentlemen...Fubar you you should look that one up...btw...what is Tivo when it's at home... ;D

Go here and download the   Presario Mediamatics DVD Player Upgrade for Specific Models under Applications. If this does not do it you may have to go back to a quick restore which will put you back to square one. Another option is to ask HP under the "solve a problem" tab. Good luck!

LOVE the Young Ones... used to watch them on MTV back in the day.     Can't seem to find it anywhere anymore... and not even on the BBC station we have.  Are they still airing that on TV anywhere???

Young Ones is certainly not on Terrestrial TV here.
 
And Cathy, the League of Gentlemen really is bizarre! I think it is hilarious but it is very very weird. Not sure what an American would make of it. Would put them off coming to England that's for sure! ;D

Up and running, had to change the region of the drive seeing that these disks are from England but im able to watch now.
