Watched it rain, stayed in the house and played duck and cover. It sucks being me. Sounds like Dan had one heck of nicer weekend than I. Oh yea -- my high point was pulling weeds out of the landscaping.

And on that day, the day designated as 'Labor Day', there shall be brought forth a bountiful harvest of ribs from the backs of baby pigs. God Bless the pig. And it was good.

Good here, the bar-b-que was good since I didn't have to cook it. And sleeping late made the weekend even better. Had a little rain, but that didn't spoil any plans here. Also had time for dining out, and some shopping. And still remain pf, well wishes to all, EDNA

Spent the whole weekend moving (well, Sat & Sun at least). By Monday I couldn't move AT ALL! I'm getting old! UGH! The best part is I"m only 1.2 miles from my job now...instead of 28 miles. NO more 1-hour commute! It takes me 3 minutes now! What a relief!

Saturday went to a co-workers (friend) brothers memorial service. Sad. He was 32 but my friend is doing better. Sunday, got the engine in my friggin' boat running--finally. Monday, pulled the boat (26' cabin cruiser), scraped barnacles, and power washed the hull and bottom (man I ache today). Then I launched her and took her for a spin! Feels GREAT to be on the water again. Even had my dad along...it was great. TomM

Let's see ... Left work early on Friday, packed the van, and filled up with gas .... Cost = $24.00 Drove 3 1/2 hours with 3 kids chattering & sprang for Micky Dees .... Cost = $10.00 Arrived at father-in-law's farm after dark and set up 2 tents in the humidity ... Cost = 1.5 lbs of sweat. Ran around for a day & a half with the kids & wife & went fishing ... Cost for license = $13.00 Spent Sunday fishing in the pouring rain & packed up the tents while it was still pouring down rain .... Cost = wet clothes Filled the van up again and drove home .... Cost = $22.00 Spending the whole weekend on verapamil and completely headache free (coming up on a month of PF) while enjoying a great family and a fun (although wet) weekend ... PRICELESS! Gotta live for those PF times and not worry about anything. Take care BruceD
