Does anyone know if/how/maybe you can sign online through a cell phone. I know you can do it with mlife from AT&T, but the coverage is very limited.
Sometimes we have to travel where the phone lines are down, but you have to be online to invoice. Any ideas guys?

It can be done, but it is VERY slow. you need to get a special addapter for your phone to your computer, and not all phones are capable of doing it.

The phones and adapters are available, but the speed is the same as a fax machine.
You could use wireless as a back up to it. the range is limited, but the speed is pretty good and there are more hot spots starting all the time.

..I got a nifty USB wire and bit a software from my Verizon folks that works fine. The cell becomes the modem and I'm off and running.
