Had a hard day... head pounding, had to rehearse with the band, and - it was just last weekend my bass player Doc was bitching about me getting wracked up for the weekend. Well, tonight I said several times to 'Doc' - "Physician, heal thyself". Seems he had a bad headache, and I think the flu because he has been puking all day & night, getting chills, the whole nine yards...well, we called it an early night for jamming and we let Doc crash out on the sofa...but not before I unmercifully declared loudly...."STAY AWAY FOR DOC...HE HAS SARS!!!!! Hehehehe, I can be cruel.
Now if I can just keep my head together long enough tomorrow to survive a recording session, I'll be happy. My drummer Kenn got to watch me go into a mild attack. He could see the changes in my eyes as it came and as it went away. Just sat and rocked, talked and rode it out. I told him that if it reached a certain level, I would have to bail, as I can be violent during an attack. Not against anyone, against the beast. But who do you fight when the enemy is unseen?
Been trying to do that controlled blood flow exercise, but it is prolly so simple I can't figure out how to do it.all I can concentrate on when an attack hits is cutting off blood flow somehow by applying pressure in my neck and rocking sitting on the floor punching my leg, not hard but rythmically. Anyway - woke up at 3:30am Friday, and have only had 2 hours sleep since. Gonna try for some Zs for the big day today.

Wish me luck,
Carl D
