Hello Again Everyone! I have a question which I am sure you all have answered 100 times but I am new to this CH thing and I am reading and reading and reading some more trying to load myself with knowledge for my next Drs appt on Tuesday but one thing I have not seen mentioned was a symptom I have. I have the mind blowing, buckle to my knees, pray for death pain but I also have this nonstop pressure. The best way I can describe it is as a child standing on your head for to long and that headrush feeling. Its a dull pain kinda tingly weird feeling. This feeling NEVER goes away it just builds up to the attacks. So what I am wondering is "A" Is this constant pressure feeling normal (if one could call it that) during a cycle and "B" Does this pressure EVER go away!?!?!?! Any help is MUCH appreciated ~hugs~ Jen

Jen, I am sorry, I wouldn't know. With mew the pressure is just at certain spots and not like you describe. But don't forget that clusters materialize in a variety of shapes and forms. Things seem to be different for us all. Keeping a headache diary is a good way to get the doc to understand, btw. Also, print out everything you find here on the site. Good luck

I forgot to mention that the constant pressure/ dull pain is only one sided as are the Ch's ( For me its my right side) ..... but the pressure is mainly temple region and behind my eye.

I think you are refering to what we all call "shadows". We all get a lower level pain kip 3 or 4 that hangs around all the time and especially right before a ha starts up.

Additionally, I have uncontrollable tearing in my right eye with absolutely no pain on occasion. That is a new one for me. Normally, I would not get the tearing until about an 8. Most of my shadows are just annoying...the only painful thing about them is knowing that an attack is probably imminent. They are not always followed by an attack. CH attacks SUCK...anticipating an attack runs a close second in the old suck factor. Chris
