I am a friend of Chuck.
I just left him, He is in the hospital. He asked me to let you people know, if anyone was asking.
They are trying to stop his head aches. He said they are doing, I think he called it DHE treatment.
I am not sure if he wanted me to tell you or not but he had a pretty bad heart attach this afternoon. They are not sure what the damage is yet. It is the best place to have one, if you have to have one.
He is doing OK, considering all he is going through. He is pretty drugged up, and not to coherent.
I will tell everyone more tomorrow if you want to know.

Oh my god. Poor Chuck. If it had to happen, I guess you are right, Bob...he was in the best place possible.
Please tell him that we are thinking of him, praying for him, fighting along side him. He has brought so much hope and joy to this message board in his short time here.....just breaks my heart to hear of his pain. I truly hope that the DHE works and that his heart mends quickly.
Bob, you are a good friend for coming here. Please keep us updated. I would really like to send him a card or something. Would you let us know what hospital he is in, where it is, room number, and of course, his real name? Please. If you don't feel comfortable posting it...email it to me? I have been through the DHE in-patient treatment and it can be a very lonely 5 days.

I just left Chuck. He is OK, I guess. He did not look at all good, but he insists that he is doing fine.
It is very hard to get Chuck to talk about Chuck. He is constantly changing the subject whenever I try to direct the talk to his condition. He is more concerned with my wife’s condition (she has MS) than he is about his own. The bastard is the most compassionate person I have ever met. It tears him up too see someone else in trouble or in pain, yet he hates to let anyone know the problems he is facing.
I have know him for 100 years (it seems), and I have learned more about his problems from this site, than I have ever heard from him. I spent last night reading a lot of the posts here. I am so glad he is opening up to someone! But, when he gets better, I am going to kill him for not letting some of his friends know what is going on. There will be some serious hinny kicking going on. I am one of the very few who have seen him in one of his episodes. He hides it from people whenever it is possible.
Someone asked about sending him cards or flowers. Don’t do it! He absolutely hates card and flower sending. He says it is just the card and flower companies trying to get our money by making us feel we should be obligated to send them to people. I humor the old geezer! (He is 3 days older than I am) Send him an e-mail if you feel you must.
He asked about a lot of people from this site. I could not fully understand the names he was asking about, because his speech is so messed up right now. It is very hard to understand what he is saying. I do know, though, that he thinks about all of you that are suffering. That is his way. As is said often here, pain free times to you all.
I wish I had better news, or at least more detailed, but I was unable to get those details. You people seem very learned, and want to know all the specifics. I am sorry I cannot provide them. I will try to get more tomorrow.
