Interesting NY Marijuana Laws (Not CH)

Just read this in The Buffalo News:
New York Marijuana Laws are easier than Canada, even the new proposed laws--at least at first:
Canada Possession: Up to 15 grams: $290, $180 for minors
New York Possession up to 25 grams: $100 first fine
2nd Conviction: $200
Third Convictions are Class B misdemeanors. Up to $250 and 15 days but they hate to enforce jail in my part of the State--No money.
Surprises me anyway.

How about $5 per joint... At least that's what it was in Ann Arbor, MI when I still lived there...

California is really cool if you have a doctor's recommendation. You can even grow it. Just don't let the Feds catch you... they are a bit uptight about it.
