If you're a true clusterhead, then you know there is no pain worse than clusters. Again...I'm the lucky one. Been chronic for 3 years and now I have kidney stones... again. If my heads not poundin' ... my back is killin' me. I feel like a pain posterchild !! WTF is going on? Why me?

Guess I just need to vent sometimes. Seems like everyone I know is always healthy and I am always in pain. I've been 'chronic' for 3 years now and this is my second bout with stones in the last 9 months. My life has dimenished to a darkened bedroom with a stack of Imitrex injections. I couldn't see how anyone would want to trade me places.

That's cool. Venting is no problem. It probably is one of the better things you can do. Many people would want to trade places with you though. My brother, for one. The people who were not suicidal but chose to jump off their respective twin tower for two. Really Unsolved. I know what you're going through and you have to keep things in perspective for yourself or you're going to do yourself in. Maybe not suicide but you'll do yourself in just the same. No PROLONGED self-pitying. Or we'll kick you off the pity pot for you.

Seriously though, the kidney stones could probably be avoided by drinking more water, and CH is really bad but people do suffer from lots worse chronic pain than CH.

many years ago I worked in a cancer clinic for terminal patients, I think they would not even think to swap places with ANYone...

I think everyone is entitled to there own lill pity party...when things get overwhelming it tends ta happen. Seems with pity parties tho ya have ta recognize yer doin it to yerself and then drag yerself out of it.....and friends like the people here and at home can have a big part in the towing....even if it is jus 'bein there' ta listen.
