Kinda scared...

I've been in a cluster cycle.....this one has been the worst I've ever had. Earlier today the in eye I've been having pain in (right eye) I suddenly couldn't see out of for less than a minute, then my right side of my face went cold, then I had trouble speaking (like I really had a hard time forming my words and when I could get them out they didn't come out right), and my body felt weak especially my right hand had trouble holding things (like my cup and a pen). Now I still have a headache (a bad one but not a 10 anymore). My husband called my doc and he wants me to go to the ER....I don't understandf what is going on, I've never had these things happen b4....I really don't want to go to the ER but we are going in a few when dinner is done for the kids....I hate our hospital ER they are very incompetent and insensitive IMO so not only am I scared about what happened earlier but I'm dreading going to that ER.....

Dont worry Tara, even they cant screw up an MRI or CAT scan.
Thats probably the test they will do and the are harmless pain wise.

Wishing you luck with ER - I agree it is a good idea for you to go, even though they're incompetent they might be able to help in some way, like MRI. I just had one - not too bad.

The speach problem can happen with migraines and so can the sight problem. Hopefully this is what is wrong and you will be fear free very soon. It's so stressful wondering what's wrong.....especially when there are children involved.

First of all thank you for the support and vibes and thank you Reeand Bryan for the prayers. Well they did a CAT scan and it came back normal. They are saying I'm just having a lovely CH/severe migraine combo. I've been having migraines since I was about 16 and CH's only for 4 yrs or so....but never had I had a migraine that had all those lovely symptoms along with it. It was quite scary if ya ask me. But I did upset at the ER, on my way to there I got very overheated and it kicked in another CH attack and by the time I saw the doc it was in full swing............the doc gave me nothing to help the CH or the migraine.....I would have been so thankful to have been given something to get me a few hours of beautiful sleep. Oh its just a headache she said and walked out and I actually burst into tears....I'm mad at myself for crying like that, but I'm just so tired of pain and tired period!

It is unforgivable for a doc to recognize a cluster headache and not offer something for relief!!!
Something needs to be done about this. Any suggestions family?

Thanks guys....yeah I am very relieved that its all ok too...I guess they were concerned about a bleed in my brain or something. But yeah they piss me off too. JUST A HEADACHE my a**! I would like that doc to just have a cluster for just a few minutes and see if she thinks its "just a headache" then.
