We had a thread, not long ago, on jobs/careers. It was interesting to read what folks here do for a living. 
What do you all do for fun, hobbies, special interests, sports, etc.....either now or in the past?

For fun?
making shiny things for the ones I love, meaning, laser cut stainless steel letters in where I put a mirror finish on.
I think ive made five sets now....I love the reaction I get.

Guitar stuff and music theory
CD collection, especially my extensive true heavy metal collection
Insect taxonomy and other matters involving biology and animals
I've been known to take time out to watch a Formula 1 or Indy race.
Many things dark and mysterious

Well Jackie I just asked Buddy and Deveny what I did for fun besides talk to my cluster friends on the computer and phone and go meet them. Their reply was (both at the same time) that and work in the F$CKING Yard. I have fun working in the yard and on the house.
I also enjoy walking down the dirt road here. I love being outside and sitting in my swing!
The most fun I have is making people laugh!

Making handmade gifts. Like to design the gift to kind of suit the person. Doesn't matter what the material. Wood, cloth, clay ... just thinking about them the whole time I am working on it brings a smile to my face. I also happen to have a fetish for power tools !!!!!! So ripping and rebuilding is another hobby.

Right now that consists of 2 or 3 shows a year with the Crighton Players http://www.crightonplayers.org/main.htm at the Historic Crighton Theater....mostly comic character roles....and whatever strange gigs surface from my reputation...like this weekend...I'm being paid to appear at a kids birthday party as the embodied spirit of a pirate...with as much realism as possible....I'm sure photos will surface.
and
Whatever my son ADAM is interested in...which presently means playstation, Computer Games, WWE wrestling, Monster Trucks, Nascar, Disney's bevy of teenage girl hotties (he's got severe CP...so I hold them down while he has his way with them).
and
Playing with Georgia.... which often means talking about y'all and researching CH.
and
Amateurbation...I hope to be a master some day.

I like to sell and collect all kinds of useless and pretty neat stuff. It's fun.

I am a motorsports fan. Anything with a motor and wheels. F1, CART, Indy, ALMS is my favorite. Im not much of a NASCAR fan though, I dont understand them guys going left all the time and the littlest things cause a yellow flag. I am also restoring a 1965 Impals SS in my spare time. ............andy

Job: me....home kennel'ist......me a pooper picker upper and doggie breeder upper.....me a puppy salesman....
Brad's job: print shop owner operator and blacksmithing makein knives and whatever......and he likes his harmonica.....
Interests and passions: our pets.....and Harley's of course, and weekends with friends ridein and campin and hangin out here, there or sumwhere else.....oh....and beah drinkin with em as a past time here, there or sumplace else. Also fixin up the place at home inside and out and cool yard stuff makein it more of a PALACE (a never endin job)......we like raceing here, there or sumplace else also.....

This is a very ironic question.. because lately, I've come to figure out that I HAVE no passion. I go to work - I come home, am on the computer for maybe an hour.. sleep, I go back to work. I have no time for anything else but keeping this family semi-happy.
And I've noticed in the past few weeks, that I need something of my own. It seems everyone has something of their own..
i do not drink, I dont do any drugs, I dont go out and party, I dont gamble (being a dealer at a casino - takes all the fun out of gambling)... I dont do ANYTHING...
it's frikkin amazing to me to actually realize that I dont have a life. amazing, and depressing. I dont know what I like.. I dont have time to like anything anyway. I am not crafty. Dont have time to read...
Maybe this thread will help me with my problem.. reading what others do to entertain themselves.. maybe I'll get some ideas.
ps - for those who care -=- i have not left.. just still trying to catch up (got wayyyyyyyyyy behind when i moved, and then was out of internet because of a storm, and working a different schedule now.)
Cannot seem to catch up, but lurk every day to do what I can. All the pics of the convention made me sad... i wanted to go so bad. You all look like you had a good time...
Dont post much, cuz lately, I haven't had anything to say .... good or bad, that's where I am.
