Kirk,
I know you covered this, but I cnnot find it. What is the name of the update for Windows which needs to be installed? I only want that ONE patch as I am still on dial up at home (shaddup!!)...
I noticed on the Windows update page there appeared to be a couple with the "Critical security pathch name"
I thank you!!!

I think the one you're looking for is the Direct X update. Although the best update would be to update your system to something like BSD or Linux.
Damn now I'm going to be flamed by the Windoze users

Nah, I expected that!!!
Well, I gots what I gots at home on the ole $699 PC and it's Windows. Actually, it's been fairly reliable for me all in all.
We are about to buy a new PC, tho. I wonder if they'll place Linux on it for me? HA HA!!
You think those Best Buy assclowns have even HEARD of Linux?
