how many of you had numerous ear infections as children?
edited to add: I had tons of them when I was little. My mom took me in for many hearing tests because the doctors thought I was going deaf from them. What's funny is, I have very acute, sensitive hearing now.

I had multiple ear infections as a kid. Back before they put tubes in ears unless you went deaf. I even had my ear drum pierce from infection.

Nope, never had an ear infection. Had strep throat numerous times as a kid, but no ear infections.

I did...I had them ALL the time. Real nasty ones too. My momma stopped letting me have any dairy products because of the congestion they cause...and they stopped. But I had to eat my Puffed Rice with orange juice.

Yes of course I did living in a cold area of NY. I have also had Measles, chicken pox, flu, strep throat. But I have never had mumps! And I have had my Tonsils out when I was very young. I was also side swiped my a car getting off a school bus. I knew I should have walked to school that day, but the snow drifts were up to my head and it was 10 miles to school one way. Glad I was lucky eonugh to get back up and walk to the side of the road. My Mum saw the whole thing happen to me. Why today you can hardly see the door knob crease in my chest from that 1950 Studabaker............Maybe that's what caused my ch...............Anyone else ever get hit or own a Studabaker?LOL

Dave can't remember any which tells me the answer is probably NO... Did you get bad ear infections Mel? That in itself is a terrible sentence to serve, especiallly when you are a small child. Breezy got ear infections and has somehow gotten it down to like one a year... Thank God. love to you and that new snuggle bear........ ree

My hearing is quite keen..........but think it's due to the fact of having such rotten vision..........yuk........Used to tell the kids when they were younger that I had magic ears.....think my husband even believed me......I'd hear things from another room that he wouldn't hear even if he were sitting in front of it.

thank you everyone for your responses. I was curious to see if there was any correlation between CH's and ear infections, but it seems there is not. Anyhoo, the question was not asked before, so I was the first to do so! ;D
