LENGTH OF HEADACHES

I keep reading they last 5- 10 minutes or an hour....mine last 4am till midnight when i finally fall asleep then 4am i'm up again....i've never had one less that what 4 hours...of intense head banging pain..am i missing something?

Without Imitrex and/or O2 mine last 45 - 90 minutes.
With Imitrex and O2 5 - 10 minutes.
So you might be missing Imitrex and O2.
Just a guess mind you ;D

Look if your Neuro has misdiagnosed you then your not going to get the right meds or the right help, all I was saying was that clusterheadaches don't normally last longer than 4 hours max...usually about 45 minutes...maybe you should seek a second opinion...

She wasn't chased away. She was given information and couldn't hack it. I'll tell you what. You go to a board about people with extreme gaseous conditions, bring up your or your wife's condition and see if they tell you it's more than gas and you should seek help from people more familiar with those conditions.
